Vol.35, Issue 3 is Out Now!
Dear Bilingual Review Family,
The Bilingual Review/Revista Bilingüe is pleased to announce the publication of the journal’s newest issue, Vol. 35, No. 3 (2023): Translanguaging: From the Classroom to the Internet.
This issue features perspectives on translanguaging and bilingual education in a digital world. We are proud to include the English article, “Translanguaging Between English and Spanish and Positive Identities in the Spanish as a Second Language Classroom at a Private School in Asunción” by Celina Ayelén Sanabria Ferreira and Dr. Valentina Canese; the Spanish article, “Construyendo comunidades a través de las redes sociales usando Spanglish: El caso de TikTok” by Dr. Saira S. Carreto Romero and Dr. Philip P. Limerick; and the bilingual article “La conciencia crítica empieza temprano: Young Transborder Children’s Critical Conciousness y lo que implica para las escuelas primarias” by Dr. Melissa Adams Corral and Dr. Sarah Gallo.
This issue also has a review by Dr. Elena Foulis of Asina is How We Talk: A Collection of Tejano Poetry Written en la Lengua de la Gente.
Finally, in our Literature section, we once again have poetry by Randy Koch.
